Meet The Trainers

Michele Trevor

Mini First Aid Trainer for both the Bradford, West Leeds & Huddersfield region and the York region. Mum to Maisy and Freya! After being along side a friend who experienced her child having a seizure Michele realised just how important it was to learn the basic first aid skills.

Carly Howarth

Carly joins the team with over 20 years teaching experience within Further Education. Carly is currently part of the care team at a Children’s hospice whilst also delivering mini first aid classes. Carly believes it is a privilege and an honour to be able to share her first aid skills and knowledge with each attendee hoping to provide reassurance, confidence and the ability to deal with a situation should it ever arise.

Ciara Tindall

As a qualified teacher and mother of three young children, I am thrilled to be delivering first aid training to school children, as part of the National Curriculum. These skills are simply vital and as soon as I met Michele and the Mini First Aid family I knew I had to be a part of such a progressive and passionate team!

Helen Perring Dobbs

Helen has worked as a Registered adult and Sick Children's nurse, and for over 20 years she was a community nurse for children with special needs and disabilities. Having 2 sons of her own, one of whom has a life threatening illness she is keen to share her knowledge of first aid with other parents and carers.

Joanna Howes

Jo has been a nurse for 20 years, 10 years on intensive care in Leeds before becoming a health visitor in Bradford after the birth of her first son. Preparing families for the birth of their children and supporting them has been the most important thing to her for many years. Jo wants to help all those participating in a mini first aid class to leave feeling prepared in any situation and to have the confidence to help both their own children and those around them if the need arises.

Nicky Wordsworth

Nicky is a trainer with over 20 years teaching experience and has been an active First Aider since 1996. Nicky is a mum to one grown up son. She is now a proud Grandma to Tech Savy, almost teenage Ashley and too energetic, need eyes in the back of your head, toddler Caleb. Having been a manager of a Children’s Centre, Nicky believes every parent/grandparent and carer should equip themselves with First Aid Skills as experience has taught her that you never know what is around the corner.
